Our songs should be more than just a well written lyric or a perfect
production. Our songs should be about reaching the heart of the
individual person. The only way to do that is through Jesus Christ &
the Power of the Holy Spirit.
My music is not perfect, my singing is not excellent, but it is sincere
and honest. My songs are directly inspired by the Holy Spirit and I
have done My best to put music to each one.
It has always been my desire to be polished, professional and
exceptional, but I have learned over my 47 years of life, that
only Jesus Christ is Exceptional! Everything else in life simply does
Not come close to HIS perfection.
My purpose now, is Not to WOW crowds, my purpose is to be
obedient to my Heavenly Father and as Jesus said in John 12:49-50,
“For I have not spoken on my own authority; but the Father who sent
Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.
And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever
I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
This is a day to day journey for each of us, learning to hear our
Heavenly Father and learning to be obedient to HIM alone. None of
us walk this life perfectly, but success is Not perfection…
Success is the complete surrender to Jesus Christ and complete obedience
to the Will & Purpose of Almighty God for our lives. Making the choice every
day to follow HIS perfect example in HIS Word, to HIS Voice and to HIS Holy Spirit.
